Our Priorities

Education and Awareness
Serve as a trusted resource and partner across government, embassies, and other relevant third parties. Educate stakeholders on why U.S. foreign assistance programs and grants for cybersecurity products and services are critical to the success of cybersecurity diplomacy and national security and therefore need to be modernized and reformed.

Legislative & Executive Branch Engagement
Build legislative and executive branch champions and advocate for the reform through legislative channels of existing cybersecurity assistance channels and U.S.-funded international grant processes for cybersecurity assistance.

Coordination and Integration
Identify and promote opportunities for cybersecurity assistance channels to be integrated and/or more widely known within the government policy and contracting stakeholder communities. This may involve promoting reforms such as creating Rapid Capabilities Offices dedicated to U.S.-funded cyber aid to coordinate across different programs, agencies, and services to streamline processes and prioritize available funds in a cyber emergency.

Embassy Education, Engagement & Authorities
U.S. Embassies are the front lines for engagement with our partners and allies, and with a renewed emphasis on cybersecurity diplomacy they have become more critical as we seek to build relationships and provide cybersecurity assistance in emergencies and as a normal course. Consequently, we would seek to provide ideas and guidance to facilitate reform for cybersecurity assistance channels.

Accountability
Timeliness for providing cybersecurity assistance is critical to building relationships and establishing credibility with our partners and allies. Therefore, we seek to find appropriate mechanisms to establish accountability for delivering cybersecurity assistance in a timely manner.
